Momo Mania, Nanglo’s annual momo festival began on Thursday, June 24, and will continue through Thursday, July 1 at Nanglo Cafe and Pub in Kamaladi. Like previous years, Momo Mania brings many varieties of momo, but only for takeaway and delivery this year. Nanglo has been hosting Momo Mania for more than ten years now, offering unique flavors of momo that you wouldn’t usually find elsewhere.
Each year, Momo Mania would be a gala with different food stalls, band performances, and many other entertainment options. But this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, Momo Mania is taking place remotely, which means you’ll have to opt for either takeaway or delivery instead of in-person gathering, with combo deals and daily prizes on offer.
The menu of Momo Mania 2021 has three sections. The first section is for non-vegetarian eaters with varieties like ginger fish, pork teriyaki, and sweet and sour chicken. The vegetarian section has different fillings, including poached beetroot, garlic mushroom, and paneer masala. Likewise, the final section offers a combo variety. The food festival has some exciting offers, too. On the order of any three momo types, customers will receive a bottle of Pepsi (600 milliliters) for free, as Pepsi Nepal is Momo Mania’s beverage partner. The family pack will get them two such bottles at no additional cost. At the end of the food festival, select customers will receive Nanglo food vouchers and Pepsi gift hampers (if they’re lucky, of course).
