Kathmandu Marriott Hotel’s Lebanese Food Festival is happening on March 24-28

Kathmandu Marriott Hotel is hosting the Lebanese Food Festival at its signature restaurant, Thamel Kitchen. The five-day event will take place from March 24 through March 28, 2021. Attendees can taste the flavors of Lebanon from guest chef Rabih Yantany, who will be joining at the event from Oman’s Ritz-Carlton, a Marriot Luxury.

Thamel Kitchen is Marriott’s interactive, all-day dining venue serving multi-cuisine dishes. Being a Live Kitchen, where the chef prepares the dish in the open and serves it at the table, diners are to get a very interactive culinary experience. The restaurant has a contemporary ambience along with al fresco dining. It’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Thamel Kitchen Buffet

Joining the food festival is guest chef Rabih Yantany from Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Muscat, Oman. He will be leading the culinary team to serve authentic Lebanese dishes. Categorized under Middle Eastern cuisine, Lebanese food is characterized by the use of fresh produce and an array of seasoning. Unlike other Middle Eastern cuisines, Lebanese cuisine extensively uses seafood and poultry. The use of red meat in this cuisine is limited to lamb and goat.

The Lebanese Food Festival will start at 6:30PM and will last till 10PM NPT on March 24-28. Entrance costs 2,800 NPR per individual (excluding taxes). It will cover unlimited access to Lebanese food buffet and a complimentary drink.
